University Crossing is a retail development in the University District near the University
of Nevada, Reno. As one of the first student-oriented retail projects south of the
freeway, it is designed to serve the area’s growing university population. With five dining
options, including two new to the area, it offers students, faculty, and locals more variety
and convenient places to eat and gather. Beyond offering new dining choices, University Crossing helps strengthen the connection between the University and Downtown Reno.

By introducing new retail and gathering spaces, the project enhances the energy of the area and supports the ongoing integration of campus life with the surrounding community.

The development is a result of a strategic public-private partnership with the City of Reno, created in collaboration with Caesars Entertainment. Leveraging Tolles’ expertise in innovative deal structures and strong partnerships with both public and private stakeholders, the project is designed to deliver the best possible outcome for the community.
